The breakfast was delicious, and the massage service was reasonably priced. Those were the only positives for me. Check-in was later than the hotel's stated time, and when I arrived I was told I'd need to move to another room the next day, which was a major inconvenience because I was busy. My room's outlets barely worked, and the WiFi signal was too weak for me to work properly. The shower was just a tube, and water ran across the bathroom floor because the drain wasn't working. The floor was left flooded, which was very uncomfortable, and the rooms were humid. Several other guests confirmed the same problem. When I raised it with the manager and asked for compensation, he was rude and offered no concrete solution, refusing to take responsibility for the problems.

It was peaceful and sunny here, tucked at the end of a quiet street near the very busy main Thamel area. I enjoyed the couple of days I spent there. The sheets weren't high quality and the bathroom was basic, but the price was so low I didn't complain. There's also a big jug in the lobby where you can refill your water bottles, which was a real plus.

I felt safe and well looked after the whole time. The garden was a relaxing place to come back to after the busy city and trekking, and everything was spotless. The shower was amazing and the bed so comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough to help. This is one of my favourite places I've stayed anywhere, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu. Thanks for such a wonderful stay.

The garden courtyard is a nice place to sit, and the hotel feels calm there even though the main Thamel area is just a couple of minutes away on foot. It's comfortable and clean, though not new, and doesn't feel stuffy. For the price, it's really good value, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Just don't leave food uncovered in your room. Ants may get in from the outdoor corridor and staircase.

The staff are what keep us extending our stay. Tulsi, Krishna and Money make us feel at home, and everyone here has been amazing, the best staff we've had anywhere. The rooms have cute balconies overlooking the garden, and it's such a peaceful break from Kathmandu's bustle. The food is delicious, and the buffet breakfast has something for the whole family. Don't hesitate, book here.
