We had to change our booking when our trekking plans shifted, and it was no trouble. They also kept our luggage during the two-week trek. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great value, highly recommend.

The view over a small courtyard was nice, and the room itself was pleasant with clean sheets. The staff were young and very easy to deal with. The bathroom did have a bit of a smell when using the sink, but overall it was quite nice.

For a low price, Kathmandu mantra home is a fresh and clean place right in the heart of Thamel, with a nice rooftop view. The management are very helpful and will try to find solutions for you. I'd suggest a room on an upper floor for the view, just keep in mind there is no elevator and you'll need to use the stairs.

The hotel can also help with travel planning, and Kathmandu is a nice place to visit with restaurants of all kinds. Prices here are affordable. My room had good lighting and reliable hot water, and the breakfast service was more than good.

The location is fantastic, close to lots of good shops and restaurants. There's also a great rooftop view and seating area, and the wifi worked well. My room was nice and mostly clean, the staff were very friendly, and the included breakfast was filling.
