The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I also loved the tranquil garden, a welcome place to unwind after the bustle of Kathmandu. The hotel is in an impressive historic building. I can’t recommend it enough.
The shiny utensils made the meal feel even nicer, and Marsi with Mutton was a satisfying combination. I tried Dolpo Aalu too, and it tasted great. Having Marsi for the first time was a good experience. The dining area could be brighter, though.
The hotel has Nepali artifacts, mainly connected to Dolpa (Dolpa) District. We tried the restaurant and found it comfy and peaceful, with a natural feel and outdoor garden seating. It’s on a secondary road, away from the city crowd, so the area seems quiet.
Lovely coffee, a nice garden view, and a calm, friendly server. Really liked the place, especially for authentic Nepali food.
Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and thanks to Kshitiz chef for getting everything arranged at short notice.
