OYO 273 Hotel Rara Palace

The Thakali set was a highlight for everyone in our group. Breakfast and dinner were included, and both meals were fresh, well prepared, served on time, and offered a delicious variety. The rooms were spacious, clean, furnished well, and had comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and 24/7 hot water. From check-in to check-out, our Kathmandu stay went smoothly. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful, and made us feel welcome while promptly taking care of our needs. The price was reasonable for the food, service, and accommodation, especially for student or group trips. Highly recommended if you want a clean, budget-friendly hotel with great food and hospitality. Thanks to the whole hotel team for making the visit memorable!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really liked the coffee. It’s also in a great spot near Pashupati Nath temple.

Everyone at the hotel, from the manager to the waiters, was great, and the service was super. The room just wouldn’t cool down: the AC didn’t work properly, even after running for five or six hours. I’d suggest the Shradha Palace manager get a working AC installed.

The staff were kind, well-mannered, and seemed well trained. The place was clean and hygienic, and hot water was available around the clock. I paid 1600 NPR for a non-AC room, with a limited complimentary breakfast. Indian currency is accepted too. It’s right by Gaushala Chowk, close to Pashupatinath, with plenty of food options nearby. I’d recommend it.
