You get the calm of a traffic-free side street while staying close to the busy main roads of Thamel. There was no noise from traffic or nearby activity. The room was comfortable, clean, and kept in impeccable decorative order.

The owners were kind and helped us arrange our trek, with luggage storage available. We went on the Manaslu Trek with our guide, Chandra, who was enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. The hotel itself is pleasant, tucked on a quiet street at the edge of Thamel, and breakfast came with fresh coffee.

The management were especially friendly and treated us really well. We had a lovely time here with friends, thanks to the cozy rooms, peaceful feel, and great service. It felt like a home away from home, and we really enjoyed their hospitality. Highly recommend.

We left for another hotel after two nights, and I wouldn't stay here again. The bathroom water smelled of sulfur, and there were two cockroaches in mine. We'd already been moved to a different room because water from the toilet was leaking across the floor. The male staff were very kind, but the woman at the cafe was awful, acting put out whenever anyone ordered tea. It was a terrible experience.
