The Buddha Garden Hotel

The inside balcony was a unique feature and a definite plus. Our room, sheets, and bathroom were clean. There was a problem with the water heater, so we had cold showers for two days, but they fixed it. Don’t judge the hotel on that as if there won’t be hot water. Breakfast was included and tasty, the coffee was good, and the sitting area was nice. You could eat in the breakfast room, outside on the balcony, or in your room. There was a choice of scrambled eggs, sunny side up, or an omelet, and I think there were other breakfast options too. For the price, location, and hospitality, I don’t think you can find a better hotel. I had a very good stay and would come back to Hotel Buddha Land. I’d suggest it if you’re on a budget and want to be close to restaurants and bars.

The rooms were cozy, nice, and very affordable. Nepalis are known for warm hospitality and good service, and this hotel lived up to that. In the Thamel area, where almost all the hotels are mostly occupied by people from other countries, the breakfast options tend to be English, American, or French.

The staff members were friendly, and the location was good. Some rooms smell of smoke, so ask for a non-smoking room if you don’t smoke.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the WiFi connection was good. The hotel provided airport pick-up, but you need to let them know beforehand. It’s also close to Thamel’s shopping streets, and breakfast was decent. I stayed for two days on my first visit and had a nice stay, nothing fancy.
