Yog Hostel

I kept extending my stay because I loved being here. Yog is lively and fun, with art everywhere, and lots of cute animals around. There are nine different buildings, free yoga for guests, a gym, cafe, kitchen, and restaurant. You can join in socially or find a quieter corner, whatever suits you. The staff are so kind and helpful, always greeting you with a smile. They work hard, respond quickly, and do their best to accommodate requests. I’m really grateful to them. Thank you, Yog!!

Yoga Hostel felt like home to me, with modern conveniences and a calm setting away from the city’s bustle. The place was so clean and organized that I never felt away from home. You can tell the housekeeping team takes real care of every corner. The free facilities for staying guests made it easy to stay comfortable. I could cook familiar meals in the shared kitchen, keep up with work and family on fast Wi-Fi, and stay fit with morning yoga and the well-equipped gym. In the evening, the rooftop restaurant and bar had delicious food, a lively atmosphere, and a beautiful view that helped the day’s tiredness fade. It was more than a stay for me, it was an unforgettable experience that brought calm and energy to my tired mind. If you want a peaceful modern place to take a break and reconnect with yourself, this is a lovely option. The warm service won me over, and I’m already promising to come back. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, right at the edge of busy Thamel, and the hostel has a nice rooftop bar and restaurant. My bed was comfortable, the showers were hot, and there are free water refills to help cut down on bottles. The staff are genuinely caring, kind, and helpful. They have a travel desk that can arrange buses and trekking, and they lend trekking gear for free, with only a small laundry charge. There’s free yoga every day at 9am in the most beautiful studio I’ve seen in a long time. The cat cafe has free entry, you just buy food or drinks. A perfect place to start a Nepal adventure.

The front desk team, especially Asmita and Anish, were warm and professional, and the housekeeping was excellent. Our room was very clean, and the shared kitchen came in handy. They also offer free yoga sessions and have a mini gym. Yog Hostel Kathmandu made for a comfortable stay, with really kind management.
