August Lake Resort

The owner went out of his way to get me bus tickets at the last minute, and the rooms were quiet and clean, with lake views, a hot shower, and good WiFi. Great place to stay. The ownership has recently changed, so I wouldn’t rely on older reviews. I’ll be back!

The peaceful setting just outside Lakeside was a welcome break from the town’s bustle. From my room I could see both the mountains and the lake, and the balcony view was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious, though a bit expensive. I didn’t get to try breakfast, but they reduced the room charge to account for that. I had a memorable stay at Hotel August Lake. I’d recommend it if you’re after a quiet getaway with a stunning view.

The well-appointed rooms and panoramic views of Phewa Lake made my stay at the "Hotel August international" in Pokhara a delight. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too. It seems like a good fit for leisure or business travelers looking for somewhere comfortable and scenic.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the dining staff were very helpful. The restaurant had tasty local food, lovely decor, and a nice atmosphere, with all the amenities and facilities well equipped. After getting away from the busy life of Kathmandu, we were greeted with warm smiles and great service. The courteous staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was worth staying, and I’ll return soon.
