Hotel Deep Sagar

The food was good, and room service was good too, though it could be slow at times. The rooms weren't very tidy, with cockroaches everywhere, and the restroom was okay but small. Once, while a function was going on, they ignored our calls.

We spent four good days at Deep Sagar Hotel in Pokhara. The rooftop view is not to be missed, and we loved it. Staff were welcoming, and every dish we tried was enjoyable, though we didn't eat there often. They arranged a good buffet for our orientation, and the hall was suitable for the program, but airflow was a problem during a full day of training. Rooms and amenities were average, with room service worth appreciating. My ratings: room 3 stars, hall 3, food 4, customer service 5.

A genuine, good place to stay for a few days, whether you're on a business trip or holiday.

We had a bad stay here. Cockroaches were in the room, the bed felt like a piece of wood, and the pillows felt like carpet. There were Visa signs all over, but they couldn't process the card. Even after I followed up, it took 30 minutes to get two pieces of plain toast. Hot water was only available at certain times. For the same price, you can find a much nicer hotel in Lake Side.
