Hotel Elegant

The rooftop mountain views were stunning, and even the sunrise from there was satisfying if you weren’t going to Sarangkot, though of course it wasn’t as gorgeous as the view from Sarangkot. My attached balcony directly faced Machhapichhre peak and the nearby ranges. The hotel also arranged our Sarangkot trip at a cheap cost, and seemed to offer some adventure sports for interested guests. It was the best hotel of our Nepal trip. Just 2 minutes from the main road and phewa lake, it had spacious rooms, big beds, clean upholstery and linens, working amenities, and very good central hot water. There were AC units, though hardly anyone would need them, perhaps they could help some people warm the room. There were enough outlets to charge several devices, and ample parking out front. Staff were good and cooperative. Smoking wasn’t allowed in rooms or inside the hotel premises. Souvenir and small daily-item shops were nearby. We didn’t try the food since we had our own cooking team, though the medium-sized dining hall seemed to have people enjoying their meals. The coffee served to others smelled rich, but we didn’t have the time or convenience to taste the restaurant food. A very good property, recommended.
