The rooftop view is gorgeous, and there’s a big meditation room upstairs. I stayed in the female dorm, which is a little tucked away, so look for the street sign and follow it in. The beds were wonderful, the showers great, and drinking water is free. The rooms were spotless, the food was excellent, and the warm, loving family made my stay. Best place I’ve stayed in Nepal. Ten stars.

The owners were so welcoming and had answers for every question or request. I also liked knowing that 20% of the company’s profits goes to a local orphanage in Pokhara. Breakfast was included and fantastic, and we had dinner there one night, which was great too. The prices are very competitive, while the rooms and facilities felt comparable to places charging twice as much or more. It was easily the best room we’ve stayed in Nepal. This hotel is a real gem in Pokhara, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.

I spent a few days here in March 2017 and really enjoyed this peaceful, warm place. The rooms were new and clean, and the hotel had lovely pictures and quotes around it. There’s a nice yoga room on the rooftop, too. The staff were friendly and happy to help with questions. The owner has a big, warm heart and always greeted me with a big smile. I love that part of the profits goes toward helping children. Hotel Love and Light is a fitting name. I’d recommend it to anyone, and hope you have a pleasant stay.

Amrit and his family helped us get our trek organized and made us feel very welcome. We stayed several nights before and after walking the Annapurna circuit. The rooms, toilets and showers were comfortable and clean, and there are useful extras like free drinking water, lockers and kitchen service. It’s right by the heart of Pokhara’s lakeside, without being too noisy. I’d stay again and recommend it to everyone.

There weren’t many other guests, but we came in the off-season, just after the hotel opened. The place is beautiful and brand new, with a calm atmosphere, clean rooms, a rooftop yoga room and mountain views. Breakfasts were perfect and organic. I also had some great conversations with the owner, Amrit.
