We were on the top floor, with a large rooftop area where you can sit outside at tables and chairs and take in the gorgeous mountain and lake views. There’s another roof with sunbatteries, a round veranda, and benches protected from the sun. The room was spacious and solid, with furniture and hot water. The downsides were hand laundry on the rooftop, smells of frying oil rising from the restaurant, and burning garbage from somewhere nearby. It was also moderately loud up there. Those minuses bring it to 3.5 stars.

The location is really beautiful, with a medical shop, restaurants, and a shopping market close by. Staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The only negative for me was the awful Wi-Fi and very poor internet speed.

For a few days in PKR, this is an affordable staycation option. The staff are welcoming, the food is good, and there’s a nice view from the balcony. The shower has warm water too.

The owner also manages the property. It’s an awesome hotel for under 1000/-, and Pokhra Lake is about a ten-minute walk away.
