Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland

The restaurant food was delicious, and I got excellent service both there and at reception. We were lucky to get upgraded to a stunning room. My only complaint was that the portion was so big. I tried hard to finish it because it was that good, but gave up full and satisfied. The complimentary drink went perfectly with the meal. I'm local to Auckland and would absolutely stay here again.

We got to the hotel very early in the morning from the airport, and the staff kindly gave us a room right away. The harbourfront is an easy walk away. Our two-night stay was thoroughly enjoyable: the room was clean, quiet, and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely return.

The hospitality was so plainly faultless on my first night in New Zealand that I came back later in the trip. I'd arrived before travelling farther up the coast. The room was modern and spotless, reasonably priced for a central hotel, and the window looked out at the Sky Tower. The gym and minibar were both well equipped. I slept comfortably and quietly, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I can't think of much else one could reasonably ask of a hotel. I'd stay again and again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful during our two-night stop after Singapore and before picking up a hire car for a road trip. Our room had a good bathroom and a great shower, plus tea and coffee making facilities and a well-stocked minibar if needed. There wasn't much wardrobe space, but enough for a couple of nights. The Trocadero restaurant downstairs serves a good breakfast. We didn't eat there in the evening, though the menu looked varied. It's on Queen Street, in an okay area and just a short walk from the waterfront.
