voco Auckland City Centre by IHG

We really enjoyed our three-night stay in a modern, clean room, and would definitely come back to Auckland. The gym was fantastic, room service was great, and having self-service washing machines was handy. Special thanks to the ladies at breakfast at Mozzarella & Co, who were extremely friendly and made excellent short black. There was a small mix-up at check-in because our car was too tall for the parking garage, so we had to put in extra effort to park it ourselves. The manager more than made up for that with personal attention, drinks at the sky bar with a stunning view, and complimentary breakfast.

On my first trip to Auckland, I had a fantastic stay at Voco Auckland City Centre. The room was new, modern, clean, and spacious, and the location made exploring the city easy. I’m sensitive to noise, so the quiet room mattered a lot. Room 2602 was peaceful. The thoughtful staff offered late checkout at no charge and even gave me slippers and an umbrella. I’d highly recommend it and would return.

We were there for a week-long convention, and it was easy to get around from this hotel. Everything was nearby, and transport and the ferry were simple to catch. Breakfast was very good, especially the amazing coffee. Our room on the 27th floor had a water view, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside was that the rooftop bar wasn't open, as we'd been looking forward to the advertised view. The staff were amazing, kind, and patient, whether at reception or serving food and waiting on tables. Even with a big crowd, they stayed helpful the whole time.

The view was lovely, and the team made the stay memorable. Nichole handled everything smoothly, Ayush made us feel looked after, and the staff at Bar Albert, especially Clinton, went above and beyond. Chef Daniel, Joshua, Kat, Teen, and Cammy at Mozzarella Resturant were outstanding. We really appreciated the thoughtful amenities too. The receptionist was wonderful, and everyone was warm and professional. I’d happily return and recommend the hotel.
