I came to Christchurch for work and had a great experience. The location was convenient and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a simple buffet, but tasty. The rooms were good, the beds were comfortable, and I was impressed that you could order the pillow you wanted. Would definitely recommend :)

What made our stay especially pleasant was how kind and professional the team were. Nikka welcomed us warmly at check-in and made it feel like we’d arrived home. At breakfast the next morning, Kathy looked after us and kept an eye on the other tables too, always ready to help. Deseree, our housekeeper, kept the room spotless and in perfect condition throughout, even though we didn’t meet her. Thanks to her and everyone who helped make the visit so good. The Crowne Plaza is right in the heart of Christchurch, just a few minutes’ walk from the main tourist attractions. I booked a parking lot in advance, and coming and going by car worked without a problem. We also appreciated the upgrade to a junior suite. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom amenities were good, the equipment was in perfect condition, and we felt secure.

The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were modern, quiet, and clean, with comfortable beds. We also had a great shower and a nice view. My only small suggestion is to offer an airport shuttle, though I’m being picky. We had an excellent stay.

The location was great, though we found the room a little dark. The bed and pillows were okay for comfort. It would have been nicer to have real coffee instead of instant.

After a long day on the road, this hotel felt like a reassuring place to arrive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food and drinks are consistently good. Staff are friendly and helpful, and seem to make an extra effort to look after you. It’s a good quality hotel in a handy location.
