The walled garden and orchard were lovely, and it’s a great place to bring fur babies. Cafes and gift shops are close by on flat ground, which made getting around easier for the older people in our group. Louise was a first class host, happy to help with anything, and the house went well beyond what we expected. We’ll definitely be back. Such a wonderful place.

One night just wasn’t enough, and I can’t wait to return. This beautiful historic cottage is right in the heart of Clyde, with stunning styling and so much thought put into the details. Louise was a lovely, attentive host, and even picked fresh flowers from her garden for us to take along. My favourite place to stay in Clyde.

The garden was such a lovely bonus, and Louise’s kindness and hospitality made our stay. The decor suits the age of the building beautifully, with so many personal touches. We’ve rarely stayed somewhere so thoughtfully equipped. An absolute delight, and highly recommended.

We stayed for a wonderful night after finishing the Otago Rail Trail. The stone cottage is right in the heart of Clyde, with spacious double rooms and tasteful furnishings. Louise was a lovely host. Highly recommended.

Louise made us feel very welcome, and the house and gardens are beautiful. Everything we could possibly need was there. I’d happily recommend a stay here to anyone in the area.
