Everything here feels carefully and tastefully thought through, from the interesting maps on the walls to the outdoor seating and the lovely underfloor bathroom heating. The hosts are lovely, and breakfast was great and home-cooked. Olivers is an exceptional place to stay. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Andy & David.

After a long day cycling, the large bathtub in the main room was very welcome, along with the separate ensuite. We were on a cycling tour and felt exceptionally well treated from the moment our hosts David and Andrea welcomed us. Our room was beautifully furnished and quite unique. Olivers Stables in Clyde was an amazing, one of a kind stay. The bar and restaurant were excellent, and the tranquil garden courtyard was a lovely place to gather, enjoy one of Olivers house brews, and spend the afternoon. I’d highly recommend a day or two here. You won’t be disappointed.

The homemade bread and other breakfast treats were delicious, and the lodge itself is beautiful and comfortable. You can tell how much care the owners put into Olivers Central Otago lodge. Our hosts were amazing, and we loved the historic maps in the hallway. We had a wonderful stay!

A delicious breakfast and lovely hosts made our stay even better. The bedroom was spacious and beautiful, with an ensuite, and the building is gorgeous, full of character and a sumptuous feel. Wonderful accommodation.

The rooms were fabulous, the hosts lovely, and breakfast was a terrific continental spread with baked eggs. We had dinner at their restaurant, ‘Oliver’s’, where the food and service were exceptional. This sensational accommodation sits at the start of the Otago rail trail. We’d highly recommend Oliver’s to food lovers and anyone doing the rail trail.
