The breakfast room was lovely, with plenty of nice options, and the walls had some awesome photos. Everything was clean. Check-in and check-out were easy, reception was nice, and the staff were friendly. The location worked well too, with eateries nearby, and there was plenty of parking onsite or on the road outside. We had a two-bed room with its own basin, vanity, and mirror. The double had a bedside table, lamp, and power point. The single bed had none of those, and its electric blanket couldn't be used because there was no plug, just a cord trailing nowhere. Both beds had electric blankets. The room lights were five very bright bulbs hung from a ladder on the ceiling. They felt harsh in a bedroom and didn't suit the old villa decor. The villa is a lovely old guesthouse, with a motel area at the back. The shared bathroom was basic, with showers in cubicles that locked. The shared toilets were separate, roomy single rooms with a toilet and a large wooden vanity, sink, and mirror. They fit the old villa style. I'd recommend staying here, but ask about bedroom power points if you need to plug in the electric blanket provided on the bed.
