Communication was great, and it's just a two-minute amble into town. I woke to a spectacular view of the hills, and the bed was super comfortable. Prices were great as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Room 201, which Bronwyn suggested, was beautifully appointed and comfortable. I also thought the train track nearby was a real bonus, since seeing a train come by was quite exciting. I was sorry not to meet the host, but a big thanks to Bronwyn. The shared kitchen exceeded my expectations, with a lounge area alongside it, though I hardly saw anyone. The shared bathroom was well appointed. Locally, the only similar price I found was for a room at a nearby pub. I’d recommend this room, especially for couples, for a lovely stay in peaceful, relaxing surroundings at a truly affordable price. Thanks very much.

We needed a spot in Featherston before an early cycle ride to Wellington station, after taking the evening train over. Bronwyn was an excellent hostess and found a safe place for our bikes. Everything was spotless, and it was nice having a communal kitchen and chatting with other guests. I’d recommend it to anyone doing Tour Aotearoa, especially since there’s a hot tub available. We didn't use it, so I can’t say more about it.

A great place in the heart of Featherstone. It’s close to the main street for shopping, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Recommended.
