The stream beside the tent runs day and night. Earplugs were provided, though I didn't need them, and I slept extremely well, feeling recharged by the natural surroundings. As a solo traveller, I found the place a real paradise. It looked even more beautiful in person than in the photos online, and once I'd settled in I could feel the care the hosts had put into it. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere serene, and even the outdoor shower felt private. There are a few instructions to follow, but they're clear and easy. The property itself feels like an attraction, so arriving a bit early gives you time to enjoy it. If your schedule is packed and you only need somewhere to sleep, the instructions might feel inconvenient. This place suits people who want to slow down, take in the nature, and enjoy the garden and birds.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and seemed deeply connected to the land they care for. They were thoughtful and available while still giving us room to relax. It felt like a lifestyle they genuinely enjoy sharing, not just accommodation. We loved the privacy and quiet. It felt like the whole world was ours, though the beach was only a short walk away and Abel Tasman and Kahurangi were close too. It's a great base for exploring, but we could happily have stayed in the garden the whole time. The tent was gorgeous, cosy and well built. We slept wonderfully under soft blankets, with the stream nearby. Having a private outdoor shower and kitchen made it feel both luxurious and grounding. Waking to sunlight, making coffee as the garden came alive, and eating breakfast outside felt like a gentle reset. Set in a lush permaculture garden with fruit trees, flowers and birdsong, the whole property showed how much care had gone into it. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful little pocket of beauty, much more than somewhere to sleep. We left feeling grounded, inspired and grateful. If you want to rest, reconnect, slow down and breathe, this is a lovely place for that. We can't wait to come back. 🌿💛
Shanti was a lovely host, warm and attentive, and made us feel at home. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing glamping break and a memorable stay. We'd happily recommend it.
Warm and cosy, and we had a lovely stay. The outdoor shower was a favourite. It's also in a great spot for visiting local attractions. ❤️
A bit late writing this, but my partner and I stayed at Shanti's lovely place in November and had such a good time. The luxury tent was stunning, with a big comfortable bed, mini fridge and tea and coffee facilities. We loved the outdoor shower, and the peaceful, leafy garden had chickens and an outdoor kitchen. The beach is just a short walk away. Shanti, thanks for such a wonderful stay, and the complimentary tea service was fantastic :)
