Room #3 was a quiet, clean and comfortable middle unit, with plenty of space and everything in order. The water heated instantly, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the kitchen had a microwave, refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, kettle, toaster, glasses, plates and silverware. The dishes and utensils were clean. They also supplied coffee and Ceylon tea, hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies. The bathroom was huge, with a handheld shower option, shampoo and conditioner. Check-in and checkout were easy, and I could just leave the key card in the room. I stayed for three nights in late November 2025. There are at least 40 motels lined up from this west-end spot to Pak 'n Save, so it really is motel row. A couple of things took the shine off the stay. They charged a $100 deposit at check-in instead of simply putting a hold on the card, then refunded it after checkout. Why do that when nobody else does? There are no USB ports, and the daily supplies were tightly rationed: four coffees, four teas, four hot chocolates and two packaged cookies. Maybe they expect guests to pay extra for more, as the photo #4 suggests. It seems silly to chase extra money for tiny packets, though perhaps they're making a fortune from $2 salt and pepper sachets.

We had two kids with us and the room worked perfectly. It was spacious and clean, the staff were lovely, and the price was great.

The rooms are a good size, but I wasn't comfortable with the rules about visitors after 10pm or the notice saying coffee is free on the first day and refills cost extra. At check-in they asked for a security deposit on my credit card. The person swiped it, then wrote down the card number and security code. I asked why they were recording those details and got no answer. That felt very untrustworthy.

The room wasn't clean to a good standard: I noticed dirty areas on the toilet seat and inside the spa and shower. Outside our room there were toothpicks and cigarette butts everywhere. I also saw some guests, especially the person next door, drinking and smoking inside their cars in front of the rooms. That felt very bad for health and safety, and I wish there were a designated smoking area. We spent a night there with family, but it wasn't a place to relax. The front desk service was unwelcoming, and the person next door made so much noise that we barely slept. Very disappointing.
