The campground was quiet and roomy, and the owners were kind and welcoming. In the morning I got to help feed the farm animals, which was a neat experience. We arrived late while driving toward Abel Tasman, but paying online for a powered site and picking our spot on arrival was easy. The sites are large, well maintained, and accessible for campers of any size. I’d highly recommend Kiwi Park Motels and Holiday Park to anyone passing through.

The shared areas were tidy and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, handy laundry, and toiletries in the shared bathrooms, a nice touch. We stayed in a comfortable cabin that had everything we needed.

We were in our camper van at the kiwi motels and RV Park last night. The site was level and had power, and the showers were nice and hot, though they took a $2 coin for 6 minutes. Sandy was lovely and gave us lots of information. I met Mr Claus and their other kitty too. No bugs!

We came before check-in time, and it wasn’t a problem. The facilities were superb and clean, and it’s an easy stroll into town with nice people around. A real hidden gem if you’re stopping for the night while travelling through. Do it.

The cabins are a little tired, but they’re spacious, very clean, and have everything you need as a home base for a couple of nights exploring the area. There’s a good range of rooms and a well-presented campsite. The hosts are super friendly, and it’s within walking distance of the township.
