A lovely, warm place to stay, very clean and supplied with plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything you’d need. I’d recommend it 💯

The place has a homely feel, and the receptionist was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location, price, and facilities were good. But the walls are so thin that you can hear neighbours talking and snoring. The shower also floods, even when you point the head at the wall as they suggest. The bed and pillows weren’t great either. Such a shame, because it’s a quirky little place.

We had a really enjoyable weekend at this Lodge for our family reunion, with 13 rooms booked. The shared kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, and the kitchen-to-BBQ area layout worked well. Staff were really friendly, and the hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. The standard was excellent, and I’d recommend it.

We had a lovely stay, and it was great that our pets were welcome. The beds were comfy and we got a good rest at night, ready for busy days. Hot showers were lovely too, and the shared kitchen was always clean and tidy. Staff were friendly.

The rooms are nice for couples, and the community kitchen is useful, with all the appliances. As a motel, it’s hard to fault, and there are some nice touches. The basin could be bigger, though, and the separate hot and cold taps make it difficult to get water at a normal mixed temperature.
