I liked the calm, friendly feel of the whole place, and the owner was very welcoming. My room was bright and clean, and just the right size for me. The bed was firm and comfortable, which I prefer since I can't stand soft beds. It's close to town, so getting around was easy. You can walk to the beach or drive. There's also a spa pool and an outdoor dining table.

Even though it's on a main road, the room was perfectly quiet. The location is great too, just a short walk to Pukekura park or the waterfront. The room was modern and excellent, and the facilities were well maintained. The new owners were friendly and are keeping the property up to a high standard at a great price.

We had to extend our stay, and the team made the whole thing easy. The rooms were bright, clean, and a good size, with plenty of parking too. Another lovely visit to New Plymouth. Thanks to our great host and team.

The room upgrade was a nice bonus, and a soak in the hot spa made the stay even better. At Northgate Motorlodge, the facilities were well cared for, and the gentleman looking after us was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and hope to come back. Highly recommend!

Everything was spotless, and the small rooms were laid out just right. They were very comfortable, with what I needed and none of the extras I didn't. It was easy to walk into town, and the place suited my short stay perfectly. I'd happily recommend it.
