Greenvale Bed & Breakfast

We saw cheeky Kaka and Kereru wandering onto the deck, with a gorgeous view over the bay in every kind of weather. The birds and island knowledge Helen shared were fascinating. She was so welcoming and thoughtful about the details. I slept really well, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom had everything I needed, including a shower with great pressure. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade muesli and sour dough. It definitely left me ready for a walk around Ulva Island.

We ended up needing somewhere to stay at the last minute after a problem with our planned accommodation, and Helen quickly helped us out. The rooms were lovely, and she was thoughtful about all the details. Her knowledge of things to do on the island was a huge help. My husband and I had an amazing stay at Greenvale and would happily return.

Helen spoiled us throughout our stay, with all sorts of thoughtful touches. The homemade sourdough and jam were delicious, and our room at Greenvale was lovely, with a beautiful view across Oban harbour. We had a fabulous time and would recommend this gorgeous B+B.

Matt made sure we had everything we needed, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Spending time with his gorgeous rescue dog Zeuss, hope I’ve got that spelling right, was a real highlight for us. Five stars hardly captures how good the stay was. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it.
