I totally loved my two days here and will be back. It's a great family holiday spot, especially if you have pets, with dogs welcome and fishing allowed. Free canoe rides are available, with life jackets in most sizes for the little ones. There's a trampoline and pool table, plus plenty of outdoor fun. At day's end, relaxing with a drink and watching the sunset over the water is the best. Xx

The only thing keeping us from coming back sooner is the distance from home. We had a great stay, and both our dogs could roam off lead around the park with us as long as they stayed under voice control. Great spot, good accommodation, and a lovely host. We'd definitely recommend it and will probably return.

There’s real potential here, and the property itself is nice, but it needs a major clean-up. The outside furniture looks tired and shabby, and the facilities don’t seem to be looked after. The BBQ in the cabin was filthy. I wouldn’t stay again.

We’ve been coming here for 43 years. It’s quiet, dogs are welcome, and the private beach and fabulous views make it a lovely spot. The accommodation is great, and the owners always give us a fantastic welcome.

Already thinking about booking our next stay. Love the pet-friendly setup and the old-school kiwiana feel of this place.
