We'd happily come back to this lovely little unit. The spa bath was great, and they provided a good range of toiletries. I especially liked the pretty patterned crockery, such a nice change from plain white plates. It's close to the beach and has a children's play area, too.

We've stayed at Ocean Motel twice, and both visits have been great. It's quiet and extremely clean, handy for Paraparaumu Beach, shops, and restaurants. The manager is accommodating and checks if we need anything. With our three little ones, we found everything so well catered for that staying here was easy. The kids loved the playground trampoline, and after a long drive the comfy bed was a real bonus. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The room was small for the price, and nobody changed my towels for two days. It was very cold, with an old, smelly heater, and the furniture was quite old and had a dusty smell. I can see you have great reviews, good for you, but this just wasn't the right place or time for me. I don't recommend it. There are a few great options along the sea view with great service and prices.

The newer unit we had was quiet, clean, and nicely presented, with a lovely spa bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach, restaurants, cafes, and small shopping centre are all an easy walk away.

I arrived late and left fairly early after one night, so I didn't meet the hosts. The suite was clean, tidy, and well appointed, and I slept well. Complimentary WIFI and Sky Television are included.
