There’s a lovely outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The place is simple and clean, with a great bar attached called Cheers, full of welcoming locals. Jessica and Sunn work at Cheers and are lovely. Kerry and Marina at reception were a fantastic help with recommendations. Thanks to the manageress, whose name I can’t recall, for the KFC 😉.

The pool stayed heated even at night when it was really cold outside, and the room service was spotless. We loved everything about this warm, inviting hotel. The restaurant in the morning was exceptional, and the service was perfect. The welcome felt magical and comforting. We’ll probably return. Thank you for the Rotorua experience, from Nouméa, New Caledonia.

I want to give the staff here a glowing review. Kelly Ballyntyne made me feel welcome from the start, and even with a small hiccup with my reservation, her manner didn’t falter. Monique was a wonderful server and gave me amazing customer service too. Thank you both so much, ladies. I’ll recommend my colleagues to my staff.

The staff were really good, and the room had what we needed. Everything was decent and very clean, but the beds were the standout, the best motel or hotel beds I’ve ever slept on! The kids’ pool was nice, and both spas were at a really pleasant temperature.

We only stayed one night, but had time for a swim in the evening and again in the morning. The heated pool was a hit with my two-year-old, who stayed in longer than usual. It’s not a new or modern hotel, but it had everything we needed for an easy, relaxing stay, and the bed was so comfortable.
