After a rough start in an awful hotel, we had to find somewhere else for the rest of our four nights in Rotorua. This lovely B&B was a blessing, especially at such a good price. Our refurbished room was clean and tidy, the little breakfast was a lovely start to each morning, and Trevor was a great host. We’d happily come back next time we’re in Rotorua. The room was huge, with a lovely little patio, and the gentleman running the place was friendly and helpful. He had the heatpump on before we arrived, so it was warm and cozy when we got in. We could hardly hear anyone else in the house, except at checkout since our room was near the door. The shower head kept turning, which I didn’t like, but the water pressure was fantastic and it even had a massage setting.

The hosts were welcoming and gave us useful information. Our large room was clean, with a good bathroom and everything needed for a nice breakfast, including tasty fruit. It’s a little farther from the centre than some places, but the five-minute drive was worth it for a good rest. Recommended.

Rosemary made us feel at home straight away, she was so welcoming and helpful. The room was huge and spotless, with armchairs and a table and chairs that worked well for relaxing or eating. It’s in a lovely, quiet, upmarket residential area of Rotorua. I’d definitely stay again.

We spent three nights here during our five-week New Zealand tour, and it was a lovely place to come back to: welcoming, sparkling clean, and with a great breakfast. Rotorua and the nearby area have loads to do, from lakes and sulphur pools to walks and restaurants. Highly recommended, with excellent hosts.
