850 Cameron Motel

The main Tauranga Hospital is just across the road, and there are nice walkways along the bays a little farther away, easily reached on foot. The owner made check-in simple and showed us to our room personally. Everything was tidy and clean, including the spacious room, large bed, kitchen and bathroom. The TV was large and easy to use, and the Wi-Fi connection was great. A pleasant stay in a motel with class and style.

I've stayed here twice this past year for work, a week each time, and the rooms have always been spotless, spacious and well equipped. The service is super friendly, and the location is really convenient. I have high standards for cleanliness, and I'd recommend the place for work or a holiday. Thanks, guys, and I hope to visit again soon.

We were here through travel assistance for a hospital visit, and Tina and Tony were so helpful and accommodating. Absolutely fabulous place to stay, highly recommend. I only realized almost a week later that the swipe card was in my phone wallet, so I'll post it back. Thank you so much.

The room was so quiet and comfortable, and the bed was dreamy, with soft linens and a pillow menu. It was immaculate and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe room, a well stocked kitchen and a nice selection of teas and coffees. The large shower came with lovely NZ-made toiletries, which you can buy at reception, and I was tempted. The heat pump kept the room cozy, and the ironing board was a handy touch for business or events. Housekeeping quietly came by each morning, smiling and keeping things fresh without disturbing me. At reception, a lovely man handled my booking easily and even printed directions to nearby shops when I asked. He was so kind. A woman who knew my friend, the person who booked the room, also made me feel welcome and offered milk. The place has a peaceful, kind feel to it. Visiting from Auckland, I felt cared for and will absolutely return. Cameron Motel is a rare find in Tauranga.
