We could walk to downtown, but the place was far enough away to avoid the noise. Our little hotel had two beds, a kitchenette and bathroom, plus a cute balcony seating area. It also came with utensils, plates, pots and pans.

Basic accommodation, but good value for money. The beds were comfy, the shower was nice and hot, and the blackout curtains helped. We could walk everywhere.
6/10
The rooms need a really thorough deep clean. There were too many areas to list. We also weren’t trusted with a sharp knife to cut tomatoes, and since reception was never staffed, we couldn’t get one there either. I’ve no idea when the fridge was last defrosted. Old and basic is fine, but that’s no excuse for poor standards. Owners, please check what the cleaners are missing.

We had a fantastic two-night stay in the Deluxe Family Room at Alpenhorn Motel, and the price was very reasonable. Our key was ready two hours before the official check-in time, which was really convenient. It was a quiet, peaceful location while still being close to attractions and essential amenities. A clean, comfortable and welcoming place, and I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Room #6 was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, a warm feel and a dining area. Check-in was hassle-free, and the location was good. It’s a great little motel for the price, and its wash-and-dry laundry was the best we came across on our trip.
