It was an easy walk into town, and the place was surprisingly quiet despite being just off Timaru’s main road. I stayed four nights for work. It’s an older complex, but immaculately clean and well maintained. Kelly was kind and helpful, the WiFi was good, and there was everything needed to self-cater if required. I’d stay again.

The shower was pretty terrible, especially if you’re tall. Apart from that, the room was tidy and very clean, and the woman there, who I think was the manager, was kind and welcoming. We’d stay again.

It stayed warm and cosy in the cold weather just from the sunlight, even with the heater off. The room was bright, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful eco-friendly touches like separate bins for different kinds of waste. A lovely no-frills motel.

The owners were great and very welcoming. It’s a good place for a night, though it has a decorated 90s feel and could use some updating on the outside. They don’t live on site, which could be a problem for the business if you need something.
