We’d been camping in Ohope in bad weather and had to leave late at night, so I called this motel around 8:30 pm. Eddie was welcoming and said he’d stay up and wait for us, even though we didn’t arrive until late. He offered a late checkout and was very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and tidy, with everything we needed, including a relaxing hot spa. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Whakatāne. Thanks, Eddie 🙏

The staff were really helpful when we checked in and gave us good information about the area. We had a great room with a Jacuzzi spa bath. Excellent motel.

After a very long drive, they let me check in early without any trouble, which I really appreciated. The spa bath was a nice surprise, and the facilities were good. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with very friendly staff. I stay in motels around the country regularly, and this one is excellent and well priced. Would happily recommend it. Thank you.

We’ll stay here again if we pass through Whakatane. The studio had a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and the welcome was friendly. The price was reasonable for a room with a spa bath. It took a while to fill, and we missed the 9:30 PM cutoff for using the spas, but we still enjoyed a good soak. Thank you!
