We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Whakatane. The place was modern, clean, and comfortable, in an awesome location. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the little ones enjoyed it as much as we did. I liked the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate station too. I lost my phone, and they went the extra mile to help me find it. Wonderful service.

We were worried our unit above the pub would be noisy, but it was really quiet. The motel is well run, and nothing ever seems to be a problem. It’s an easy walk to town or the river mouth, with some good places to eat nearby. There’s a fishing club, a restaurant downstairs, and a Mexican style bar called 1950, I think. We had great burgers there.

Lana at reception was really helpful and suggested a local restaurant called Detour, which we loved. We spent one night at The Com Plex Motel in a top floor studio suite. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location was fantastic. I’d give the motel 10/10. Thanks, Lana, for the excellent customer service.

The first time I’ve stayed here. The room was excellent, the location is very central, and the parking was good, with your room number marked on the space. Yes, I’d come back.

It was a great price, and for what it was, the place was fine. It was super clean and pleasant. A few things might bother other people, though I was okay with them: there was noticeable road noise, the shower had low flow, and you could hear the neighbours very clearly.
