In October, we were walking by when you came over to say hello and handed us a map for the bush walk to the lookout. Your local tips helped us keep going; without your advice, we would have turned back. It was quite slippery after a bit of rain that morning, so I’d recommend hiking boots over the sports shoes I had on. Local knowledge beats what you can find online. Really appreciate the help.

The owners were friendly and had good suggestions for things to do during the day. The apartment is well set up, in a spot that’s close to Whitianga but still quiet and private. We’d definitely return.

We had a perfect stay in a wonderful location. The owners were helpful and friendly, and the ferry to Whitianga is very close. Cathedral Cove in Hahei is just a 15-minute drive away.

The hosts were friendly and knew the area well. From the accommodation, it's a one-minute walk to the ferry, and the crossing to Whitianga takes a minute. There are restaurants for a bite to eat and gorgeous beaches nearby. A really nice little spot.

The owners were super nice and had great tips. Hot Water Beach is about 20 minutes away by car. Great accommodation, totally recommend :)
