Al Sarmadi Desert Night Camp

The setting among the dunes was beautiful, and we had breathtaking views from our room. It was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a big plush bed and a great shower. Breakfast and dinner both had a top-notch spread of local and international food, and the restaurant staff were attentive. The camp had a peaceful feel, with decor that brought in Omani craftsmanship. From check-in on, the staff were genuinely warm and quick to help. Shahnawaz at front reception deserves a special mention. I arrived with my wife and our two boys, Zain & Deen, and he handled every request with care and impressive local knowledge. He arranged a last-minute room change and private transportation on short notice for sunset viewing and quad bikes. His personalized suggestions, proactive updates, and warmth made everything feel easy. We were sad to leave and are already planning another visit. We highly recommend Desert Camp Resort to anyone visiting Oman for its comfort, luxury, and Omani charm.

The desert drive was a highlight, especially the skill of Mr Ahmed, Mr Rashid and Mr Abdulrazak when our vehicle got stuck in the sand. I went to Desert Nights Resort, Wahaiba sands with family and a friend, and it was an amazing experience. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, and the activities were great. Reception and the Manager were friendly and supportive. An amazing team.

A lovely spot for your first night in the desert. The rooms are cozy, the staff are generous, and the bathrooms and showers were surprisingly nice. Breakfast is included, and you can also get a free camel ride.

The sunset over the dunes was stunning, and everything was organized really well. Dinner was amazing, with a very good breakfast too. The bed was super comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were excellent. Just remember you’re in the middle of the desert, which makes all of this truly impressive.
