The Hummingbird

We had the Argentine BBQ platter for two with an extra prawn skewer for Saturday dinner, and it was amazing. The filet was tender, juicy, and full of flavor; the tuna was perfectly seared and seasoned; and the prawns were tender and sweet. Everything was spot on. The garden setting was relaxing, with birds, an ocean breeze, and gentle waves. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. One of the best experiences we've had in a long time. We'll definitely come back!

We've stayed here several times, and now that we've bought a home in the area, it's our go-to for food and drinks. The owners and staff do a fantastic job making paradise even better, and the place is second to none. Thank you, Hummingbird, for being the reason we fell in love with this slice of paradise!

The food is incredible, and both the dishes and drinks are presented beautifully. It's the best food I've had on the island so far. The place feels cozy and welcoming, and kids are comfortable here too. I'd especially recommend the burgers with homemade fries. Absolutely delicious!

The owners, Gary and Betsy, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We loved the pool and the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a spectacular view over the jungle-like grounds and ocean. Out back, there's a fabulous path through the jungle, and the beach is in front. Tropical plants, flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds cover the grounds. We also saw monkeys and a sloth. The restaurant food is delicious, with plenty of vegan and non-vegan options. My husband enjoyed the filet and lobster. The Hummingbird really does look like paradise, and I'll definitely visit again.
