Catalina Cabins

This family-run place feels like being welcomed into someone’s home, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and practical. They have hot showers and cold AC, and it’s nice and peaceful. The little pool is lovely, though it’s somewhat exposed to the road. You can easily walk into town or the other way to Estero Beach. There are also a couple of small restaurants and a grocery store within a two-minute walk. For the price, it’s a good deal.

For the price, this was a fantastic option. The host communicated really well, answered all our questions right away, and helped book a trip to Coiba. The place is about half a mile from either beach in Santa Catalina, and the town is easy to get around on foot. I loved the small pool for a dip after the beach, and having AC at night was nice.

Juan and his family were so friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had a great stay. The cabins are cozy and relaxing, and the pool was a godsend, especially with the TV and bar. The location is perfect, very close to the restaurants and beach. Juan also has bicycles you can use to explore the beautiful town. My partner and I had a great time at Catalina Cabins. I can’t thank the family enough. You have to book here! We’ll be back.

The loft cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. I especially enjoyed relaxing in the hammock on the front porch. We only stayed one night and had a nice time, but it rained the entire visit, so we couldn’t explore the area.
