The neighborhood can be noisy, and some rooms only have windows facing the inside lobby or walls. Still, the location is convenient for short walks to the train station and close to the bus station for Machu Pichu. The friendly staff gave us takeaway breakfast early for our trip.

The location is good, but the rooms aren't great, lack basic necessities, and are very noisy. Breakfast was poor as well. Be aware that the price booked and the price charged at the hotel differed. They said paying in local currency, soles, would add 10%, and paying by card would add 15%. They only offered payment in dollars, which we didn't have in PERU. The receptionist basically admitted that this was a scam they were running.

The room was super clean, the staff were very friendly, and for the price we couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was good, with fresh eggs made to order. The train woke us in the morning, but we had to leave early anyway, so that wasn't a problem for anyone heading to Machu Picchu early. They let us store our luggage for free while we went machu picchu. It's close to the train station, bus station, and restaurants. Paying cash cost the same as the booking price. Credit card had an extra 5% charge, which I think is reasonable for most places. Great value.

The woman who checked us in was so kind. When we needed a doctor, she helped us find one quickly. I was really happy with our stay.

The hotel is in a great spot and the staff were really friendly. You do hear noise from inside the hotel, and being right by the train station makes it a bit noisy too. Still, we had a great stay.
