El Caminante Class

At the El Caminante Class I felt safe and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The staff treated me with respect and care, and I appreciated the clean room, bathroom, and shared spaces. I had an amazing stay and enjoyed the people of Arequipa and what the city has to offer. I'd recommend the hotel to future visitors and will book it again when I'm back.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place was next level good. Someone I met while traveling in Lima told me about it, so I booked, and I'm glad I did. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the hotel is very central, just two blocks from the main plaza. The rooftop gives you 360 views of the city, especially great at sunset. I know only a little Spanish, but Daisy, the host, went out of her way to help and make sure we had a good stay. Top tier hotel 🙌

We were touring Peru for 20 days and spent two nights here. The staff were unbelievably helpful, the comfortable beds smelled super fresh, and the rooms were nice and clean. There are just 4 rooms, a terrace, and a shared bathroom, so don't come expecting a big social scene. It's a quiet place to rest between hikes and tours, which suited us perfectly. The room had a high ceiling and good space, and the decor made it feel like going back in time. I had good WiFi reception in the room, a clean shared bathroom, and a great hot shower. Breakfast was simple, bread, jam, coffee and juice, and included. The place was peaceful, safe, and clean, though sometimes street noise and music from the restaurants downstairs carried up, but not all night. The location is right in Arequipa's historical center, close to the main square and sights. I arrived very early, and my room was ready well before check-in without me asking for early access. They can arrange tours at prices comparable to other places I asked, and after I booked one through them, they kindly stored my things until I returned a few days later. The staff were lovely, helpful, and very friendly. I especially appreciated their help checking my reservation for my next destination. Great value for a comfortable stay.
