The breakfast could use more variety if it's included in the rate. It's the same every day. The beds are comfortable, and everything is spotless and tidy. La Casona Valdelirios has lovely decor and a pleasant atmosphere in a very quiet, safe area, only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The staff are excellent, friendly, and always willing to help, and the Wi-Fi connection is great.
The service was good, and the place felt safe and spacious. It's about 10 min. from Ayacucho airport, across from the Valdelirios promenade on Jr. 28 de Julio, with its colonial arches. The central market of Ayacucho is three blocks away, where you can get spectacular food without paying much.
The street corners were full of drunks urinating, which was the worst part. The room was tiny for the 160 soles they charged, and the cheap electric hot water unit practically gave me an electric shock. The restaurant was awful and overpriced. Everything was bad. I found a much better hotel for less money and much higher quality.
The place felt cozy and the sound was good. It was a nice experience, though unfortunately I didn't get to eat anything. 😋
I went there for dinner. Nice, comfortable place with a colonial style.
