The manager was really friendly and shared lots of useful information for the trek. I could leave my backpack there for free, and the WiFi worked well on every floor. I checked several hostels and hotels in the village, and this was the cheapest. In low season, a night in a room cost 30 SOL, breakfast included. Everything was clean. The only small snag was that the shower took a few minutes to get warm. I'd recommend it.

We stayed three nights and really liked the clean room and hot shower. The rooftop has a nice view of the area, and breakfast was decent. The owner was friendly and kept our luggage for five days while we trekked in the canyon. Highly recommended.

We'd happily have stayed longer. The rooms were tidy, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet, so we got a good night's rest. Breakfast was simple, but the hosts accommodated our vegan and gluten-free needs. They were super welcoming and accommodating, much friendlier than the hostel next door, Pachamama. A great place to stay at the start or end of a hike. Totally recommend it.

A family business passed from the father, Dionisio, to his son. The owner was attentive and made sure we had what we needed and were enjoying ourselves. There was hot water, a comfy bed, and WiFi. Support local!

I booked a night for June 11, 2024, by messaging the number listed here on WhatsApp. When I arrived, I found out I had to go to Posada del Conde Lodge instead, much farther from the town center and not listed on Google Maps. The room and dining room were both extremely cold, and the shower was only lukewarm. There were no vegetarian dinner options. The toilet was leaking, and their fix was to turn off the water supply to it. I wouldn't return. There are nicer places in town.
