8/10
We had a large, demanding school group, but the staff at San Antonio looked after us very well throughout the stay. The owner and chef’s barbecue was a real highlight. San Antonio is a rustic, secluded Hospedaje on the edge of Cajamarca, yet it’s near everything. It feels like you’re out in the countryside, and at night the stars are incredibly bright. The rooms are tidy and homey.

There’s a tennis court, and the place is peaceful, with green fields and horses. The food was excellent, and the customer service was first class.

It’s a bit far away, but every mile was worth it. Great place!
