The staff at Capac Hotel have been the best I've met on my trip in Peru so far. They're really friendly and helpful. They noticed I was ill and brought tea to my room. Breakfast was very good too, and if you have to leave early for a day trip, they'll give you a lunch box. Thank you so much!

A cheap, cheerful hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. It can get cold at night since there's no air conditioning or heating in the rooms. I got cold and asked reception for a heater. They brought an electric one, and it was enough to make the room comfortable.

The staff smile and make you feel welcome, and breakfast is great. My room was cleaned every day, and the hot water was comfortable. Everything feels clean and new. I can't believe you get such a good hotel for this price. The rooms are clean and tidy, inexpensive but high quality. I was very comfortable staying here.

The personnel are friendly, but that doesn't make up for the hassles. It's hard to find, so expect to spend 15min with the driver and then walking around before you locate the right door. There's no car access if you're carrying luggage, the shower only has hot water for 5min, and the toilet door can lock with the only key to get out kept at reception.

It's about a 20-minute walk to Plaza de Armas, and still an interesting option for a mid-range budget. The staff are friendly and the room spacious, though the toilet is a bit small. With no heating, it gets quite cold, and the shower water isn't very hot. Breakfast is reasonably priced but nothing ambitious. There's also a restaurant on site at lunchtime only, with a daily menu for 8 soles, a little over 2 euros, including a starter, main course, dessert, and lemonade of the day. That was a plus.
