Luis was the one bright spot: he went out of his way to get us a table indoors for breakfast. Otherwise, the service was very poor. The rooms were tiny, though the bathroom was the only decent part. The breakfast room was too cramped for the number of guests, and the patio was freezing because the heaters didn't work. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We found the place very clean, with roomy, comfortable rooms and excellent service throughout. The location is especially convenient, right across from the San Pedro church and market, and only about a 10-minute walk to the main square. The bathroom tubs are well worth using.

The comfortable hotel couldn't make up for the poor service. Before arriving in Cusco, I contacted them about the transfer service they said they offered, but nobody was waiting at the airport, so we had to find our own way there. On the return trip, the hotel arranged a taxi as a courtesy, yet we were charged when we got to the airport. They also put us in a different room from the one we'd booked, and we had to complain before they moved us to the right one. We were really frustrated by how badly the service was handled. The rooms were noisy, and breakfast was poor.

The city view is phenomenal, and the house itself is beautiful and roomy, with everything needed to feel at home. I did have a few kitchen problems: the blender broke, the outlets were hard to plug into, and there was a water leak.
