Estancia San Pedro Hotel

The main downside was the noise from doors opening and closing loudly. If you’re sensitive to sound, you might wake when other guests leave early for their trips. Our room had windows only onto the pretty inner courtyard, so it sometimes felt stuffy. The hotel is close to San Pedro market and very near Plaza de Armas, so we could comfortably walk everywhere. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast delicious. All the staff were nice and helpful.

There’s a great lounge area and breakfast, and the staff were lovely. You can ask for breakfast to be packed to go the night before. I also appreciated that someone is always at the front door to let in guests only, and the hot shower and room were very nice. The cleaning staff were great too. It’s really close to San Pedro Market and on the one-Sole public bus route from the airport. Within 100 meters there’s a hair salon, laundry service, bakery, corner store, restaurant, and more. Just a great hotel.

I loved the courtyard, and the location is quiet. It’s a bit of a walk to the main square, though San Pedro Market is very close. After looking at pretty much every hotel in Cusco in this price range, we decided this was the best deal. The rooms were immaculate, with a nice hot shower and a radiator.

The two men, Julio and his best friend, gave great service. I loved their humor and laughter, and they were always ready to help when we had difficulties. The hot water was steady. The heater wasn’t very powerful, but it was enough for June with a warm blanket. You can borrow a hair dryer too.
