Weekends were especially hard because noise from the surroundings kept going, whether from nightlife nearby or other events, and rest was difficult. Getting into the place was a nightmare, too. There were also drunk people on the road, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable, especially for solo travelers or families. The location is central, but those problems overshadowed any benefit. I wouldn’t stay again unless these issues were addressed.

I stayed for three nights on 6/9/17. The two boys provided excellent service, and the breakfast was sumptuous. One of them didn’t communicate well in English, but still made a real effort to talk with me. The room had everything needed for a short stay, and attractions were within walking distance. I also liked being able to experience Peru’s old town.

We stayed for about a week in San Blas, within walking distance of Plaza de Armas and lots of restaurants. The guys working there were great and very accommodating. They helped us arrange tours, store our luggage, get a heater for the room at night, and find good taxi prices. Breakfast was included, and there were private bathrooms with hot showers most of the time.

I brought my laundry here today. The clothes came back damp and still dirty, and they had clearly washed the whites with the darks.
