The place itself is nice, but the staff treated me terribly. I arrived around 4 a.m. and went out for breakfast around 9. They told me to leave because another attendant was coming, though no one had told me at arrival when closing time was. I asked if I could just wash up and go, but they refused and more or less kicked me out. They also wouldn't let me speak to the owner. I wouldn't recommend staying with that staff.

Doña Forty was a wonderful host, and the service here was the best I've had in Cusco. The atmosphere is peaceful, the mattresses are comfortable, and every room has its own bathroom with hot water and a TV. The location works well, close to the historic center and not far from the airport, so you can walk over or take a short taxi ride. They share information about tours and places to visit, and even sell the full Machu Picchu tour. Definitely recommend it!

The rooms are spacious, tidy, and very comfortable. Location-wise, it's across from the Pachacutec Tower, though not near the main square.

Waiting to head back to my destination was frustrating because the service was terrible. There was no internet and no bathroom, and it felt like they only cared about serving tourists.
