Kuntur Pacha

The rooftop has a well-equipped shared kitchen and a big outdoor balcony with what I thought was the best view in town. The owner, Oscar, is genuinely lovely, friendly, and helpful. I stayed here twice over five weeks, for about eight or nine nights total. The rooms are simple, clean, and practical. It's close to town, and a taxi to Plaza de Arma costs $2. It's not luxury, but it's good value, and I'd stay again. Can't recommend it enough.

Great view from the terrace, and the host is really friendly and easygoing. The value for the price is top notch. I'll come back next time I'm in cusco!

The balcony has amazing views, and there's a shared kitchen to use. Wi-Fi was strong, too. For 50 sol a night, I got a private room with a bathroom. It had a window and was generally clean and modern. It's on a busy street, though, and the walls are thin, so expect some noise.

For 50 sol a night, this is cheap and basic, but I do recommend it. The beds are good and the Wi-Fi works well. The shower gives you a choice: hot water with weak flow or strong flow with cold water. Downstairs, the laundry tried to short me a few soles and lost my sock. They made me search for it until I found it.
