The reception guys were super nice, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are basic, but the hot shower was absolutely enough. Breakfast was modest but good, and they always gave you something extra to take for later, like a banana. It's very central, with everything you might need or want to explore within walking distance.

The guys at the counter were great and spoke wonderful English. The pillows were comfy, the shower was the hottest we've had here, and nights were mostly quiet. The Wi-Fi was the big problem: it kept disconnecting, wouldn't reconnect, and barely worked even when connected, so I ended up using my data. We were in room 204, where the shower flooded the whole bathroom within minutes. The tiles leak, and you end up standing in a pool.

Just a couple of minutes from Plaza Des Armas, this place is very clean and well priced. It feels like a great hostel or an inexpensive boutique hotel, with private rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is included, and coca tea is always available.

The people working here are what make the place special, the service was superb. It's a simple, nice hotel with comfortable beds, hot water and a breakfast that's good enough. It's close to the main attractions, and there's a good sauna nearby that's perfect after trekking. Just avoid the laundry next door.
